B&C Plastics 5 Step Process Creating the Ultimate Design Experience!
At B&C Plastics, we cater for all of your injection plastic moulding needs. We are a contract manufacturer and specialise in the design, manufacture and decoration of plastic moulds and products. We offer an extensive range of ISO9001 certified plastic injection services using the most advanced machines on the market to design and develop components of the highest standard. To keep things simple, all of our available services are grouped under our unique five stage B&C Process, with a full range of options available within each.
Step 1: Concept Design
Concept development and 2D and 3D concept sketches. Whether you need us to create an initial concept design or refine existing ideas, we understand the importance of the concept phase which is why we make sure we are with you every step of the way. Our team can assist with concept development, brainstorming, project planning and risk analysis to ensure that all factors are considered for a successful end result.
Step 2: Component Design
Product design & development. Engineering analysis & development of specifications. 3D component design. Polymer and materials analysis. This stage focuses on turning your concept into a well thought out and efficient design.
Step 3: Models & Prototyping
At B&C plastics we employ the latest in rapid prototyping techniques. Using 3D modelling software, we implement a range of techniques to ‘build’ a prototype. Then through the creation of successive horizontal cross sections that are layered until the prototype is complete.
Step 4: Mould Design & Mould Making
Mould Making. Plastic injection moulding (anything from 25 tonne to 370 tonne) – We also use ultrasonic welding techniques to join plastic and metal components as it provides a stronger join, more aesthetic finish and allows us to improve cycle times by up to 2,000 parts per hour.
Step 5: Testing & Production
Component approval and manufacture. Assembly, labelling and packaging. Testing and Production in Australia. The final stage of the B&C process where you product is mass produced, the finished injection mould tools are tested and samples are produced. Once these parts have been tested and approved, they will go into production.
Based in Brisbane Queensland, B&C Plastics is one of Australia’s most trusted plastic injection moulding specialists. CONTACT US TODAY and find out how we can help you design, develop and manufacture your next innovative idea!
