Fostering Industry Insight for Engineering Students
On Tuesday, we had the wonderful opportunity to host a group of third-year Chemical Engineering Students from School of Chemical Engineering UQ for an insightful presentation from our CEO Royston Kent and Industrial Designer Chiara Bortoli followed by an educational tour around B&C Plastics to see where our designs come to life and products are manufactured.
Our partnership with the The University of Queensland has been a cornerstone of growth and learning, providing us with invaluable knowledge and opportunities throughout the years. A Special thanks to Clement Matthew Chan and Bronwyn Laycock for co-ordinating this visit and fostering a bridge between academic learning and real-world industry exposure. It was truly rewarding to share the story of our transformative journey.
At B & C Plastics, we believe that learning transcends beyond just listening. The essence of understanding comes from seeing and doing. That's why we emphasize hands-on experience, especially in intricate processes like injection moulding. We're thrilled to offer these aspiring engineers a glimpse into the real-world applications of their studies and hope to enrich their academic journey with practical insights.
As they continue with their semester, we hope the students carry forward a deeper understanding of injection moulding, equipped with insights that textbooks alone cannot provide!
