Our Transformational Journey
Over the last five years, B&C Plastics has undergone a transformative journey, becoming more purpose-focused and zeroing in on where we can make a positive impact in the world. Leveraging our extensive experience in the manufacture of plastics, we have redirected our efforts towards sustainable practices and innovations that benefit both our customers and the planet.

Shared Mindsets
One of the most important factors in our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) journey has been connecting with and learning from industry experts. By engaging with thought leaders and specialists in sustainability, we have been able to gain invaluable insights and implement best practices across our operations. This collaborative approach ensures that we remain at the cutting edge of environmental stewardship and continue to make meaningful progress in our sustainability goals.

Systems Thinking
At B&C Plastics, we recognize that true sustainability requires a holistic approach. Systems thinking is a core principle in our strategy, allowing us to understand and manage the complex interrelationships within our operations and the broader environment. By viewing our processes as interconnected systems, we can identify opportunities for improvement, anticipate potential challenges, and implement solutions that promote long-term sustainability.
Solutions that align with our circular future
At B&C Plastics, we believe that sustainability is not just a goal but a responsibility. Our commitment to recycling and embracing the principles of the circular economy reflects our dedication to preserving the environment and promoting sustainable practices in the plastics industry.
EcoBiz Certification
Since joining the ecoBiz program in mid-2019, we at B&C Plastics have been dedicated to improving resource efficiency and reducing our environmental footprint. Through consistent efforts and participation in multiple coaching sessions, we have made remarkable progress. Notably, we achieved a significant 30% reduction in waste intensity, earning the coveted Star Partnership status for waste management. Despite facing challenges in reducing energy intensity, we managed to sustain productivity growth while minimizing environmental impact. Our commitment to sustainability is unwavering, and with continued focus, we aim to set new benchmarks in environmental stewardship by the next assessment in May 2025.
