Achieving Net Zero Workshop
The Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water and Logan City Council hosted an awesome Workshop today at the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct for Businesses to learn about "Achieving Net Zero". Penny Prasad and Jane Gaffel of The Ecoefficiency Group who are Sustainability Experts, gave a very informative Presentation, including how to implement sustainable manufacturing practices and reduce our carbon footprint.

Wendy and Royston Kent's Beach Cleanup Expedition with Tangaroa Blue Foundation
Wendy and Royston Kent had an incredible experience with the Tangaroa Blue Foundation, traveling to Weipa and Pennefather Beach for a vital Beach Cleanup mission. The sight that greeted them was both awe-inspiring and heartbreaking: thousands of discarded items, from thongs to plastic and oil bottles, littered this otherwise pristine and remote beach.
